In short: CleanFrame is free software for editing your own photos on your own computer. You keep every right to your images. It is provided as it is, without a warranty, and you are responsible for what you edit and where you publish it.
These terms form an agreement between you and IAM_DEV covering your use of the CleanFrame desktop application. By installing or using CleanFrame you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.
CleanFrame is licensed to you, not sold. You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, revocable licence to install and use the app on devices you own or control, for personal or commercial purposes. Your installation is also subject to the Microsoft Store terms under which you obtained it.
Photos you open, edit and export remain entirely yours. We claim no rights over them and we never receive them: all processing happens on your own device, as described in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for holding the necessary rights to any image you edit.
CleanFrame changes the content of photographs. You are solely responsible for how you use the images it produces, and for complying with the rules of any platform, publication, competition or institution you submit them to — some of which restrict or prohibit altered photographs. Do not use the app to create deceptive material, to misrepresent events, to remove attribution or ownership marks from work that is not yours, or in any other way that infringes the rights of others.
CleanFrame does not modify the original files you import, and exported results are written as new files. Even so, you remain responsible for keeping your own backups. We are not liable for loss of images or of any other data, however it arises.
CleanFrame is currently offered free of charge, with no subscription and no in-app purchases. We may change this in future releases; any such change will apply only to versions published after it takes effect.
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error free, nor that the visual result of any object removal will meet your expectations — results depend on the image, and imperfect output is a normal outcome, not a defect.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, IAM_DEV shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising out of your use of or inability to use the app. Some jurisdictions do not allow such limitations, in which case they apply to the maximum extent permitted there.
We may update, change or discontinue the app or any of its features at any time. These terms may likewise be revised; the current version is always the one posted on this page, and continued use after a revision means you accept it.
This licence ends if you stop using the app or if you breach these terms. On termination you should uninstall CleanFrame. Sections 4, 5, 8 and 9 survive termination.
