Privacy Policy

Last updated: 4 August 2026

In short: CleanFrame does not collect anything. Your photos are processed on your own computer, are never uploaded, and no personal information ever reaches us or anybody else. There is no account and no server.

Who this covers

This policy applies to the CleanFrame desktop application for Windows, published by IAM_DEV.

Information we collect

None. CleanFrame has no account system, no sign-up, no login and no telemetry. We do not collect your name, email address, location, device identifiers, usage statistics or crash reports. We have no way of knowing that you installed the app, or of identifying you if you did.

Your photos

Photos you open in CleanFrame are read and processed entirely on your own device. They are never transmitted anywhere. The object removal itself runs locally on your computer's processor; no part of it is performed by a remote service.

What is stored on your computer

To let you return to work in progress, CleanFrame keeps the following in a folder inside your user profile:

All of this stays on your machine and is readable only by you. Deleting a project inside the app removes its imported copy, its result and its thumbnail. Uninstalling CleanFrame or deleting the application data folder removes everything the app has stored.

Files you export

When you export a result, it is written to the folder you choose. From that point the file is an ordinary file on your disk and is outside the app's control — CleanFrame does not track it, sync it or send it anywhere.

Network use

CleanFrame does not require an internet connection and does not make network requests to transmit your content. The app runs a small local web server bound to your own machine, which is only how its window talks to its own program; it is not reachable from outside your computer and it carries no data off your device.

The only network activity connected with the app is handled by Windows itself: downloading and updating it through the Microsoft Store. That is governed by Microsoft's own privacy policy, not by this one. If you follow a link inside the app — to rate it in the Store, or to email support — that link opens in your own browser or mail program, and what happens next is governed by the policies of those services.

Third parties

CleanFrame contains no advertising, no analytics libraries and no third-party tracking of any kind. We do not sell, rent or share data, because we do not hold any.

Children

CleanFrame is a general-purpose photo tool and is not directed at children. Because it collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children either.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted on this page with a new date at the top. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
